DANCIN' ZOE!!!

Ok, so my sisters are all probably going nuts! A dance Class???? I know, I know!!!! So Brinly's mom told us about this dance class through a lady in her ward...super cheap! And since we tried signing her up for soccer this fall, but she misses the deadline by about 3 months we decided to give dancing a shot. She takes it for an hour every tues afternoon. It's Ballet and Jazz. It's really very basic, but she has a good time. Most of the time the music comes on, (especially the Jazz music) and she just wants to do her own thing. She has learned first position, and pliea (?) for ballet and passe for jazz. She is one of the youngest in her class..and it shows. As you can tell from the pictures, everyone else is in a line, and she has to be right next to the teacher. :) Good times! We'll see how it goes. We'll keep you posted. Her "recital" is planned for Aug 19th.

Carter's Blessing Day!

Carter Matthew Ripley was blessed on June 1, 2008! And what a turnout! Almost everybody was there! Zach was asked to bless Carter and he LOVED it! How cute are they in the picture? ( Zach wants a boy SOOOO bad) Above are some pictures of everybody! Enjoy!

FUNNEST NIGHT EVER!!!!

The last night we were in town we had a triple date. Zach and Me, Jared and Celeste, and Nachelle and Nathan. Instead of doing the boring movie, nobody talking we did something else! First we went to Red Robin, then we went back to Tami's for a bonfire and airsoft gun wars! We just got the cheapy guns ($9) and set up Tami's backyard with barrells and crates for cover. We only had 4 guns so we took turns shooting each other. Since the guns were so cheap you really had to actually get up close, but it was fun trying to shoot people in the dark. Celeste was the funniest, Nasty actually has a video that I wish I could post. Celeste's played before and knows what it's like to get hit by the BB's. It's dark so you really can't see anything but all of the sudden you just hear Celeste screaming and screaming. ( She apparently did this every time she ran for cover. Very effective :) ) While other people played we roasted marshmellows for smores and talked around the fire. ( We all now wish we could go camping.) All in all it was a very fun night!!!! There are big plans to do it again when we come home for christmas...but we'll see how cold it gets!

Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's!!!

We just got back from visiting our families back home! It was a MUCH needed break! The weather was awesome! We got rain...yeah!!! We miss the rain and the green! But Zoe and Brielle had a blast. Zoe is painting rocks in the top picture. She made one for EVERYBODY. Including Brinly, Brecken and Auntie Shina. She was sad when we didn't haul all 15 of them home...so if any of you see her at christmas...expect a painted rock!

Popcorn Popping!

Back by popular demand...another video of Zoe singing. This time she wanted to do Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree. In fact, every time she does sing now she asks that I go get the camera so I can take a "picture" so she can watch it later. :) So if any of you have any requests let us know, she'll be more than happy to sing them for ya!

Pretty Princess Toes

So our tradition EVERY Sunday is to paint our fingernails and toenails. Well, Zoe's at least...sometimes we don't get to Mom's. Grandma sent us some new foam seperators for our toes. Monkeys and Froggies. Zoe of course had to try out one of each, they were a little big for her little toes, but she didn't care. Cuteness huh?

Mom's Big Helper

Zoe is getting big enough to do some chores around the house. She makes her bed, picks up her toys, & sets the table. But her favorite chore is to empty the silverware from the dishwasher. (After mom removes all the sharp knives. :) ) She is very proud of herself as you can tell by these pictures! Good job Zoe!!!
