Just like Sister...

Zoe started making yelling and growling noises, and guess who joined in and started copying her big sis? We were in the middle of dinner and this started happening. I was laughing, so of course I had to take a video to share with you, because everyone knows I can't retell a story and still have it be funny. :) So I hope this makes you laugh!!

Hooray for Swimming!!!!

We owe a BIG Thanks to Grandpa for our new pool!!! He sent it last year...but since we were having Brielle mom never had time to get it set up. But Daddy set it up while mom was at work and Zoe and Brielle just LOVE it. It was starting to rain and they still wanted to stay in and play. Brielle's lips were blue and since Zoe was in she had to stay in too. Zach and I both remember swimming in these pools when we were litte and had so much FUN! (Zach says his was an aluminum water trough for animals...put a pool none the less. :) Ahhh, memories!) I hope our kids make some fun ones too. :)

Thanks Grammie!!!!

Zoe was missing Grammie and wanted to tell her how much she loves her. Since you have to work Grammie we thought we'd post an " I love YOU" note and say thank you for my beautiful dress that you made me. Mom doesn't let me wear it every week like I want. She says I have to wear my other dresses. Something about this one being dirty or something totally UNIMPORTANT!!!) I feel like a beautiful princess. Thank-you and I LOVE you and MISS you!!!

It's Raining it Pouring...

We had our first BIG thunderstorm in Las Vegas today. That is the one cool thing about Vegas...when it rains you are almost guaranteed thunder and lightening. Lots of parents are probably aghast that I let my children play outside when it's raining...but my own mom will be proud. :) We had SOOO much fun playing in the rain when we were little....and as you can see, my own girls LOVE it too!!! *(If you listen closely you can hear the thunder over the rain. It is actually really loud, but I think the rain hitting our metal porch sorta drowned it out.) Here are a couple videos, and then an after pic. As you can see we didn't start out with coats, but Zoe and Brielle were having so much fun and wanted to stay outside longer I had to eventually get them even though it was like 90 degree outside while it was raining.

Zoe dances Britney

As most of you know, Zoe LOVES to dance..here's a little demo for ya. Pardon the screeching at the end...my computer wigged out.)

Typical Sunday for Zoe

This is what happens when Zoe doesn"t get a nap on Sunday. After dinner we'll put in a movie for her and she eventually falls asleep. This is at 6:45 pm and she slept until 6 am the next morning!!! Sometimes I just LOVE sundays!!! ( Do you see the biscuit she's holding??? I love it when they are too tired to eat...it's just so darn cute!!!)

Zoe sings her version of "I Love to See the Temple"

Once again Zoe is singing for all to enjoy. She is singing I love to see the Temple and below you'll see the translated version...and then the real version. This video is actually toned down. At one point when she was supposed to say "For the temple is a house of God, a place of love and beauty, I'll prepare myself while I am young..." She used to say: For the temple is where I dance with boys and dance and dance..." So enjoy her "toned down version!

Zoe Lyrics:

I love to see the temple I'm going there someday, To spear the holy spirit to listen and to pray. For the temple is a house of god...mumbled words..I'll prepare myself while I am young. This is my secret beauty.

Real Lyrics:

I love to see the temple I'm going there someday. To feel the Holy Spirit to listen and to pray. For the temple is a house of God a place of love and beauty, I'll prepare myself while I am young. This is my sacred duty.

4th of July!!!

We had a fun 4th of July. Many plans had fallen through so we finally ended up on plan F which was actually really FUN! We went to see "Transformers" at the outside movies at the District, and from there we could watch the fireworks from the Green Valley Ranch Casino. They were awesome, and the best part was you could walk to the end of the District and see ALL the fireworks shows going over the entire skyline of Vegas. Very cool. After we got home from the movie, we let Zoe do some sparklers, which she loved...until she managed to burn herself a couple of times. She says she much prefers the SNAPS you throw on the ground. ( She likes to jump on them to make them pop) These are just a couple of the pics we took of her and the sparklers.

Dancin' Queen!!!!

Zoe got a new dancing outfit that she absolutely LOVES. We have to give a BIG THANKS-YOU to Cami Ford, Brinly's mom who made the ADORABLE tutu! She is so happy that she looks like the other dancers in her dance class!!!! As you can see she loves to just wear it around the house.
